We can arrange through our Partners a number of excursions, plus many more. These include:

Boat Trips
Traditional boat trip, is a unique experience we guarantee is going to be the most memorable you will have from Kalkan. We have partnered with a number of the Captain’s in Kalkan Harbour and can reserve boat trips in advance of your stay. Also available is a trip to the Greek Island (Meis); or an early all boys fishing trip.
When it’s lunchtime, allow the Captain and his team to set-up your lunch at sea or in one of the many secluded bays along the coast.
Travel Further
For those that have a little extra time on their hands and perhaps want to get away for a couple of days. Booked in advance, we can arrange a few days stay in Istanbul or take you to the delightful Cappadocia.
Scuba Diving
Kalkan Dive Centre is on your doorstep or travel to Kas for more adventure.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater. If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. The minimum age for Discover Scuba is 10 years; there is no upper age limit. All divers are required to complete a medical questionnaire.
Additional Adventure
Paragliding in either Fethiye or Kas; Canoeing from Saklikent to Patara; or Quad Biking on the non protected areas of Patara Beach or into the local forests – it’s all at hand.
Cooking Class
Join the unique cooking classes at the Kalkan Guru family restaurant and discover the secrets of the traditional Turkish cuisine. You will learn how to cook authentic typical dishes of this region of Turkey with ingredients fresh from the local market in a friendly and casual atmosphere. Located in the beautiful hills overlooking Kalkan Bay.
Horse Riding
By Appointment only. The rides begin along the winding Olive and Pine tree lined paths of Patara forest, onto the amazing sand dunes, down to the beach and back through the Patara farmland. On some evenings, a BBQ is offered back at the stables where you can watch the horses graze whilst enjoying a well earned meal. During quieter periods, small pony rides are available for children.
Rides vary in time from 2hrs up depending on ability. During the summer month’s rides start at 7am and 4pm. In the winter any time during the day is good for riding.
Pottery
By Appointment only. Local pottery class run by a talented resident. Please check availability during high season.
