Islamlar and Uzumlu are small nearby villages situated in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. The two villages are approximately 8 minutes drive from each other and around 15 minutes drive from Kalkan. Both villages are peaceful, utterly un-spoilt, with breathtaking views down the valley and across the Mediterranean coast.

Islamlar village is renowned as the area with the most trout farm restaurants where they serve fresh trout, alongside an organic salad and other local produce.

Both villages are several degrees centigrade cooler than Kalkan, so if you are in Kalkan on a scorcher of a day and want to cool off, both are the place to be!
