Akbel is a traditional Turkish village and one of the nearest to Kalkan.  It is no more than a 5 minute drive from the centre of Kalkan.

Market Day

The local market takes place every Friday.  Towards the end of the market, on the left handside, is a lovely fresh fish market, where you can stop and enjoy a fresh fish lunch.
